Pre-Release Test Program Terms & Conditions
MM4X4 is committed to providing quality products. Thorough testing in as many vehicle configurations as possible forms part of this process.

Our Pre-Release Testing Program (PRT) is for new customers to test new products prior to official release, and can provide a $200 rebate on the purchase price.

The Pre-Release Testing Program
After completing the development and test program for a new model, a limited number of kits are released to customers to help us test them in a wider variety of different vehicle configurations and specifications. For example, vehicles of different build years or with different tyre sizes, engine power upgrades, or equipment spec levels.

The Rebate
For timely assistance and feedback you will receive a $200 rebate on the most advanced lockup kit available!

To Qualify - Terms & Conditions
In order to qualify for the PRT Program and to receive the rebate there are a number of conditions required to be met as follows:

Have the ability to install the kit yourself. You will not only be testing the performance and operation of the lockup kit, but also the accuracy of the Installation Instructions booklet in case there are variations across model years.

Test the operation of the unit, and provide us feedback within 4 weeks of purchase to qualify for the $200 rebate. Upon return of the completed feedback documentation you will receive the rebate refunded via your original method of payment (eg, credit card or PayPal). The rebate normally takes 3-5 working days for the payment vendor to process. The 4 week period will be extended if firmware updates are require to resolve discovered glitches.

Be 'in-tune' with the feel of your car and its operation so you can provide us meaningful feedback about the kit's performance.

Be willing to keep in regular contact with us to provide status and feedback. Technical backup is provided at all times - we’re just a phone call away for advice and/or to explain operation details. We’re happy to receive videos to help describe/explain any feedback you have.

Keep problems (if any) and suggested improvements confidential so we can resolve them without there being negative publicity about our products (on social media, etc). Positive reviews are welcome of course! Pre-Release versions are for testing to confirm operation before official release, and minor glitches are sometimes found.

Should an issue require a firmware update to be resolved, the control unit will need to be shipped (at customer's expense) to MM4X4 for the update. MM4X4 will cover the return shipping cost.

Ideally you will have an OBD2 Reader (such as an UltraGaugeMX, ScanGaugeII or ELM327) to read engine trouble codes (should they occur).

There are a limited number of kits available for PRT. We reserve the right to deny a vehicle joining the program. Denial may be due to the limit of test vehicles being reached, or there are already enough of the same configuration or model year. A denial will have the opportunity for a full refund.

Customers will be notified of acceptance into this Program once these Terms & Conditions have been acknowledged and accepted.

This program is only available to Australian customers.
We offer a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee on the purchase price of all our products, so there’s no risk to you.
Explaining problems or improvements, and the turn-around of firmware updates are, of course, much easier with local Adelaide customers. Interstate customers will need to ship the unit to us for firmware updates.

Historically, we've found issues during PRT are typically minor, and are usually related to the CANBus control messages such as auto-detection of 4L, keyless entry or the instrument cluster display during configuration mode. This is due to the features that vary across different vehicle model specifications (GXL, VX, Kakadu, Sahara, Exceed, etc).
